UNIVERSE RADIO

Privacy Policy

Privacy information for Universe Radio, first-party analytics consent, Passport verification, push and email updates.

What you should know

Last updated: 31 August 2026. Universe Radio uses necessary local storage for requested features. Persistent first-party analytics are enabled only after you choose “Accept analytics”; choosing “Necessary only” keeps analytics identifiers and persistent attribution disabled.

How it works

When you use Passport, your browser stores the Passport locally. For a verifiable public Passport, it also keeps a random owner token; the server stores only a cryptographic hash of that token and reconstructs published Teleport statistics from server-side records instead of trusting browser-supplied totals.

Transparency

Cloudflare hosts the Worker, assets and D1 database. Radio Browser supplies public station metadata. Radio playback connects your browser to the broadcaster stream. Optional Web Push uses the device push service; optional email digest uses double opt-in. QR images are generated by the Universe Radio Worker without sending the public page URL to an external QR service.
