Two complementary ways to explore the world through radio: intentional search with a directory and serendipitous discovery with Teleport.

Two different intents #
Directory and Teleport should not compete for the same query. Directory serves intentional discovery: finding radio by country, genre or language. Teleport serves serendipity: choosing an unexpected destination first and listening second. Formalizing that ownership reduces cannibalization and makes navigation clearer.
When to use Directory #
If you know what you want, Directory is more efficient. Start from country, language or genre and use filters that remain useful even when a combination does not deserve an indexable page. The interface can be richer than the search-engine index.
When to use Teleport #
Teleport is useful when the choice itself is the problem. One action reduces decisions and creates a path that can continue into Passport. The page should explain this value without filling itself with synonyms for “random radio”.
From surprise to understanding #
After a random jump, the best path leads into the country page, language and other stations. The initial surprise becomes a starting point for deliberate exploration rather than an isolated endpoint.
Measure without distorting #
First-party signals such as satisfied listens, duration and return visits can improve ranking and reliability. They should not automatically create new URLs: the Demand Gate requires sufficient volume and quality before proposing a new surface.
